Call forwarding guide

Keep your current number

You don't have to change or port your number. Just forward all of your calls to your VroomCalls number, and we handle the rest, routing each call to your team or your AI receptionist and applying your business hours automatically.

How it works

Step-by-step

Forward all calls, by carrier

Find your carrier below. Replace YOUR VROOMCALLS NUMBER with the number we email you when you go live (enter it with the country code, e.g. 1XXXXXXXXXX).

Verizon
  1. From your Verizon phone, dial *72 followed immediately by your VroomCalls number.
  2. Press call. You'll hear a confirmation tone or message.
  3. Hang up. All calls are now forwarded.

AT&T
  1. From your AT&T phone, dial **21*1XXXXXXXXXX# (replace with your VroomCalls number).
  2. Press call/send. You'll see or hear a confirmation.
  3. To turn it off later, dial #21# and press call.

Some AT&T plans also support *72 to turn on and *73 to turn off.

T-Mobile
  1. From your T-Mobile phone, dial **21*1XXXXXXXXXX# (replace with your VroomCalls number).
  2. Press call/send. You'll see or hear a confirmation.
  3. To turn it off later, dial ##21# and press call.

UScellular

Prepaid & smaller networks (Cricket, Metro, Boost, Mint, Visible)

These run on the big networks, so use the matching codes:

  1. On AT&T's network (Cricket): turn on with **21*1XXXXXXXXXX#, off with #21#.
  2. On T-Mobile's network (Metro, Mint): turn on with **21*1XXXXXXXXXX#, off with ##21#.
  3. On Verizon's network (Visible, some Boost): turn on with *72 + number, off with *73.

Not sure which network your plan uses? Check your carrier's app or website, or call their support line.

Landline & VoIP (Comcast Business, Spectrum, Ooma, RingCentral, etc.)
  1. On most traditional landlines, dial *72, then your VroomCalls number, and wait for the confirmation. Turn it off with *73.
  2. On business/VoIP services, it's usually fastest to set call forwarding in the provider's online portal or admin app (look for "Call Forwarding" and choose "forward all calls").

Exact steps vary by provider. Search your provider's help center for "call forwarding" or contact their support.

These codes work for most plans, but carriers occasionally change them and some plans differ. If a code doesn't work, check your carrier's app, website, or support line for "call forwarding." Standard carrier call-forwarding rates may apply.
